Experience
David Armstrong has managed and consulted on end-to-end supply chain operations and related functional areas throughout his career achieving meaningful improvements in service, operations effectiveness, inventory performance and operating costs.
He has broad experience in inventory management, supply chain, ERP and MRP systems implementation as well as operations, logistics and materials.
In his most recent position, David was the Sr. Manager Worldwide Inventory for a $30B multinational corporation with over 100 facilities globally. In this staff position, he was responsible for oversight of the global inventory repositioning process, inventory reporting based on the global data warehousing process along with inventory and materials related systems initiatives.
David has held leadership positions and consulted in a diverse range of industries including consumer products, high tech, retail, contract manufacturing and wholesale/distribution and has managed third party (3PL) logistics providers along with in-house operations.
